     James Caulfeild is the son of James Caulfeild and Catherine Burgh.2 He married Hon. Harriet Crofton, daughter of Sir Edward Crofton, 2nd Bt. and Anne Croker, Baroness Crofton of Mote, on 22 May 1806.1
     He lived at Drumcairn, County Tyrone, IrelandG.1

     Edward Meyrick Goulburn was born on 11 February 1818 at Chelsea, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Edward Goulburn and Harriette de Visme.1 He married Julia Cartwright, daughter of Ralph William Cartwright and Julia Frances Aubrey, on 11 December 1845 at Aynhoe, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1 He died on 3 May 1897 at age 79 at Calverley Park Gardens, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, EnglandG.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1839 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1842 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.) by Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 15 March 1850.1 He was the headmaster at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated on 24 April 1856 with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Dean of Norwich.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.1

     Hon. Harriet Crofton was the daughter of Sir Edward Crofton, 2nd Bt. and Anne Croker, Baroness Crofton of Mote.2,3 She married James Caulfeild, son of James Caulfeild and Catherine Burgh, on 22 May 1806.1 She died on 6 July 1837.1
     From 22 May 1806, her married name became Caulfeild.

James Alfred Caulfeild, 7th Viscount Charlemont1

     James Alfred Caulfeild, 7th Viscount Charlemont was born on 20 March 1830 at Loy House, Cookstown, County Tyrone, IrelandG.2 He was the son of Edward Houston Caulfeild and Charlotte Geale.3 He married Hon. Annetta Handcock, daughter of Richard Handcock, 3rd Baron Castlemaine of Moydrum and Margaret Harris, on 2 February 1858 at Athlone Church, Athlone, IrelandG.4 He died on 4 July 1913 at age 83 at Drumcairne, County Tyrone, IrelandG.2
     He was educated at GermanyG.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.1 He fought in the Crimean War.1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of County Tyrone in 1868.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Tyrone in 1868.1 He was Comptroller of the Viceregal Household [Ireland] between 1868 and 1895.4 He was Comptroller of the Household of the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland between 1868 and 1895.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for County Tyrone.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tyrone.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.1 He held the office of Usher of the Black Rod of the Order of St. Patrick between February 1879 and 1913.1 He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Charlemont, co.
