     Major William Henry Caulfeild was born on 7 October 1911.1 He was the son of George Blake Caulfeild and Lilian Bacon.2 He married Lorna Wilkinson, daughter of Cuthbert Wilkinson, on 9 April 1935.1 He died on 2 December 1943 at age 32 at Burma, killed in action.1
     Major William Henry Caulfeild fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Army Service Corps.1
