     Susan Emily Shellah Beven was born on 8 August 1900.2 She was the daughter of John J. Beven.3 She married Lt.-Col. Wilmot Smyth Caulfeild, son of Brig.-Gen. James Edward Wilmot Smyth Caulfeild and Sophia Morley Parker, on 21 September 1928.1 She died on 2 June 1992 at age 91 at Horstead, Norwich, Norfolk, England.1,2
     From 21 September 1928, her married name became Caulfeild. She was in the Civil Defence during Second World War.1 She was awarded the Civil Defence Long Service Medal in 1968.1
