     Edmund Henry George Cayley was born on 4 August 1870.1 He was the son of Reverend Reginald Arthur Cayley and Mary Louisa Bucknall-Estcourt.2 He married, firstly, Marie Olga Martin, daughter of Otto Martin, on 3 August 1898.1 He married, secondly, Laura Eugénie Beatrice Fox, daughter of George Fox, on 27 December 1913.1 He died on 2 March 1945 at age 74.1
     Edmund Henry George Cayley gained the rank of Captain in the service of the RFR.1
