     Edith Harriet Symonds was the daughter of John Addington Symonds and Harriet Sykes.^2,3 She married Sir Charles Daniel Cave, 1st Bt., son of Daniel Cave and Frances Locock, on 1 September 1859.¹ She died on 5 August 1912.¹
     From 1 September 1859, her married name became Cave.

     Daniel Charles Addington Cave was born on 17 May 1860.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Daniel Cave, 1st Bt. and Edith Harriet Symonds.² He died on 23 July 1901 at age 41, unmarried.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹

     Sir Charles Henry Cave, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 March 1861.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Daniel Cave, 1st Bt. and Edith Harriet Symonds.² He married Beatrice Julia Williams, daughter of Sir Frederick Martin Williams, 2nd Bt. and Mary Christian Law, on 12 January 1892.¹ He died on 26 July 1932 at age 71.¹
     He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹ He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Cave, of Sidbury Manor, Devon [U.K., 1896] on 29 October 1922.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon in 1926.¹

     William Ellerker married Elizabeth Cave, daughter of Sir Alexander Cave and Amphelicia Hotham.¹

     Hugh Cochrane lived at Montreal, Quebec, Canada^G.¹

     Jessica Maria Cochrane was the daughter of Hugh Cochrane.² She married Walter Frederick Cave, son of Sir Charles Daniel Cave, 1st Bt. and Edith Harriet Symonds, on 21 June 1892.¹ She died on 11 October 1934.¹
     She was awarded the Medal of Queen Elisabeth of Belgium.¹ From 21 June 1892, her married name became Cave.

     Sir Alexander Cave is the son of Sir Alexander Cave and Katharine Somerville.¹

     Grace Cave is the daughter of Sir Alexander Cave and Katharine Somerville.¹

     Katharine Cave is the daughter of Sir Alexander Cave and Katharine Somerville.¹ She married Sir John Markenfield.¹
     Her married name became Markenfield.¹

     Major Arthur Stephen Cave was born on 24 June 1865.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Daniel Cave, 1st Bt. and Edith Harriet Symonds.² He married Emily Ina Graham Mitchell, daughter of Roland Lyons Nosworthy Mitchell, on 10 January 1905.¹ He died on 13 July 1945 at age 80.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Princess Charlotte of Wales's Royal Berkshire Regiment.¹
