     Walter Baker was born in 1623 at Ballynagleragh, County Tipperary, Ireland.1 He was the son of Thomas Baker and Anne (?).1 He married Martha Osborne, they had three sons and two daughters.1 He died in 1669.2
     Walter Baker matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, on 30 September 1640.1 He obtained a re-grant of his father's lands, from King Charles II, the lands of Killenaliff, Lattinmore and Lattinbeg, Yorticord, and Kilpatrick of County Tipperary, containing 1,200 acres. The patent was enrolled on 25 May 1667 stating that the lands were in Thomas Baker's possession "long before the Great Rebellion" of 1641.1

     Thomas Baker is the son of Thomas Baker.2 He married Anne (?), Walter was their second son.1 He died in 1641/42.1
     Thomas Baker was the first of this family who settled in County Tipperary.1 He emigrated to Ireland with the Lord Deputy Sussex.1 He lived at Lattinmore, Lattin, County Tipperary, Ireland.1 He lived at Knockordan Castle, Lattin, County Tipperary, Ireland, at the outbreak of the Great Rebellion in 1641.1
