     Sir John Denison Denison-Pender was born on 10 October 1855.1 He was the son of Sir John Pender and Emma Denison.1 He married Beatrice Katherine Ellison, daughter of Cuthbert Ellison, on 2 August 1879.2 He died on 6 March 1929 at age 73.1
     He was given the name of John Denison Pender at birth.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.)2 On 8 May 1890 his name was legally changed to John Denison Denison-Pender by Royal Licence.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Argyllshire.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)2 He was chairman of the Eastern Telegraph Company.2

     Beatrice Katherine Ellison was the daughter of Cuthbert Ellison.2 She married Sir John Denison Denison-Pender, son of Sir John Pender and Emma Denison, on 2 August 1879.2 She died on 11 November 1920.1
     From 2 August 1879, her married name became Denison-Pender.2
