     Sir John Denison Denison-Pender was born on 10 October 1855.¹ He was the son of Sir John Pender and Emma Denison.¹ He married Beatrice Katherine Ellison, daughter of Cuthbert Ellison, on 2 August 1879.² He died on 6 March 1929 at age 73.¹
     He was given the name of John Denison Pender at birth.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.)² On 8 May 1890 his name was legally changed to John Denison Denison-Pender by Royal Licence.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Argyllshire.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)² He was chairman of the Eastern Telegraph Company.²

     Beatrice Katherine Ellison was the daughter of Cuthbert Ellison.² She married Sir John Denison Denison-Pender, son of Sir John Pender and Emma Denison, on 2 August 1879.² She died on 11 November 1920.¹
     From 2 August 1879, her married name became Denison-Pender.²

     Ruth Asser was born on 24 June 1750 at Roxwell, Essex, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Jeremiah Asser and Elizabeth Allen.¹
