Maria Rebecca Craven1

     Maria Rebecca Craven was the daughter of John Craven and Maria Rebecca Berkeley.1 She married Thomas Leigh, 4th Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh, son of Edward Leigh, 3rd Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Mary Holbech, circa 1736.2 She died in 1746.3
     From circa 1736, her married name became Leigh.2 After her marriage, Maria Rebecca Craven was styled as Baroness Leigh of Stoneleigh on 9 March 1737/38.

     Charles Craven was born in 1682.1 He was the son of Sir William Craven and Margaret Clapham.1 He married Elizabeth Staples.1 He died on 27 December 1754.1
     He held the office of Governor of Carolina between 1711 and 1717.2

     Augustus William Craven was born on 3 May 1858.1 He was the son of William George Craven and Lady Mary Catherine Yorke.1 He married, firstly, Florence Champagne Cotton, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Corbet Cotton and Christina Augusta Des Voeux, on 27 January 1880.1 He married, secondly, Lilian Hearn, daughter of John Hearn, in 1900.1 He died on 23 February 1929 at age 70.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Berkshire Militia.1 He lived at Horseleath Lodge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.2
