Isaac Newton Wallop, 5th Earl of Portsmouth was born on 11 January 1825.2 He was the son of Newton Fellowes, 4th Earl of Portsmouth and Lady Catherine Fortescue.2 He married Lady Eveline Alicia Juliana Herbert, daughter of Henry John George Herbert, 3rd Earl of Carnarvon and Henrietta Anna Howard, on 15 February 1855.1 He died on 4 October 1891 at age 66.2
He was given the name of Isaac Newton Fellowes at birth.2 He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 In 1854 his name was legally changed to Isaac Newton Wallop by Royal Licence.2 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Portsmouth, co. Southampton [G.B., 1743] on 9 January 1854.2 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Lymington, County of Southampton [G.B., 1720] on 9 January 1854.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Wallop, of Farley Wallop, co. Southampton [G.B., 1720] on 9 January 1854.2
