Alexander Lindsay of Edzell, younger1

     Alexander Lindsay of Edzell, younger was the son of David Lindsay of Edzell and Margaret Wishart.1 He married Lady Anne Wemyss, daughter of John Wemyss, 1st Earl of Wemyss and Jean Gray, after 30 December 1631.1,2 He died on 7 January 1638.2
     He was also known as David Lindsay of Edzell.3

     Jean Lindsay was the daughter of Alexander Lindsay of Edzell, younger and Lady Anne Wemyss.1 She married Walter Sandilands, 6th Lord Torphichen, son of John Sandilands, 4th Lord Torphichen and Isabel Dundas, circa 27 May 1651.2 She died after 13 June 1655, without surviving male issue.3
     From circa 27 May 1651, her married name became Sandilands.2
