     Lieutenant Jasper Carew was born on 29 June 1894.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry William Carew and Maude Elizabeth Taylor.2 He died on 14 October 1914 at age 20, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Prince of Wales' Own West Yorkshire Regiment.1

Margaret Carew1

     Margaret Carew was born on 11 December 1889.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Henry William Carew and Maude Elizabeth Taylor.2 She died on 3 November 1918 at age 28, unmarried.1
     She was with the Voluntary Aid Detachment.1

Commander Alfred Curtis Carew1

     Commander Alfred Curtis Carew was born on 27 January 1847.1 He was the son of Thomas Carew and Charlotte Curtis.2 He married Susannah Grantham, daughter of Edmund Grantham, on 5 July 1893.1 He died on 11 February 1927 at age 80.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for British Columbia.1

     Susannah Grantham was the daughter of Edmund Grantham.2 She married Commander Alfred Curtis Carew, son of Thomas Carew and Charlotte Curtis, on 5 July 1893.1 She died on 9 December 1939.1
     From 5 July 1893, her married name became Carew.

     Thomas Alfred Curtis Carew was born on 7 July 1895.1 He was the son of Commander Alfred Curtis Carew and Susannah Grantham.2 He married Christina Hanna, daughter of John Hanna, on 15 September 1921.1 He died in 1970.1
     He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, with the 2nd Canadian Mounted Rifles.1

     Brig.-Gen. Patrick Henry Curtis Carew was born on 31 March 1931.1 He is the son of Thomas Alfred Curtis Carew and Christina Hanna.2 He married Norma Diane Willcox, daughter of Claude Rupert Methune Willcox, on 21 August 1954.1
     He was commissioned in 1948, in the service of the British Columbia Dragoons.1 He was educated at Manitoba University, Manitoba, CanadaG.1 He was awarded the Canadian Forces Decoration (C.D.) in 1963.1 He was a lay reader at Cathedral of St. Michael and All Angels (Anglican), Kelowna, British Columbia, CanadaG.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1980 in the Royal Canadians Dragoons.1 He was Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel between 1987 and 1990.1 He was Colonel of the Royal Canadians Dragoons between 1990 and 1993.1 He lived in 2003 at 1070 Sunnyside Road, Kelowna, British Columbia, CanadaG.1
