Rev. Canon Henry Craven Carden was born on 23 December 1882.1 He was the son of Major Henry Charles Carden and Blanche Catherine Jones-Parry.2 He married Olive Gorton, daughter of Rev. Canon Charles Vincent Gorton, in November 1913.1 He died on 30 October 1964 at age 81.1
Rev. Canon Henry Craven Carden graduated from Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England, in 1908 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He gained the rank of Chaplain of the Forces in 1918 in the service of the in Mesopotamia and Afghanistan.1 He held the office of Archdeacon of Lahore between 1929 and 1934.1 He held the office of Hon.
