     Reverend Arthur Carden was born on 30 June 1823.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Robert Carden, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Thompson.² He married Rosa Emily Woodward, daughter of W. Wilton Woodward, on 13 May 1852.¹ He died on 10 August 1863 at age 40.¹
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Rosa Emily Woodward was the daughter of W. Wilton Woodward.² She married Reverend Arthur Carden, son of Sir Henry Robert Carden, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Thompson, on 13 May 1852.¹ She died on 15 November 1908.¹
     From 13 May 1852, her married name became Carden.

     Arthur Craven Carden was born on 3 May 1853.¹ He was the son of Reverend Arthur Carden and Rosa Emily Woodward.² He married Marian Hendy, daughter of John Hendy, on 23 November 1875.¹ He died on 5 January 1881 at age 27.¹

     John Hendy lived at St. Florence, Pembrokeshire, Wales^G.¹

     Marian Hendy is the daughter of John Hendy.² She married Arthur Craven Carden, son of Reverend Arthur Carden and Rosa Emily Woodward, on 23 November 1875.¹
     From 23 November 1875, her married name became Carden.
