     Lady Mary Marsham was born on 15 April 1811.1 She was the daughter of Charles Marsham, 2nd Earl of Romney and Sophia Pitt.1 She married Henry Hoare, son of William Henry Hoare and Louisa Elizabeth Noel, on 3 May 1836.1 She died on 23 February 1871 at age 59.1
     Her married name became Hoare.

     Hon. Robert Marsham-Townshend was born on 15 November 1834.2 He was the son of Charles Marsham, 2nd Earl of Romney and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Townshend.2 He married Clara Catherine Paley, daughter of Reverend George Barber Paley, on 5 April 1877.2 He died on 11 December 1914 at age 80.2
     He was given the name of Robert Marsham at birth.2 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was with the Diplomatic Service between 1855 and 1859.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1859 and 1869 in the Kent Militia Artillery.2 He was appointed Fellow, Geological Society (F.G.S.)2 On 27 March 1893 his name was legally changed to Robert Marsham-Townshend by Royal Licence.2 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.2

Margaret Elizabeth Leigh.1 She married Brig.-Gen. Thomas Pakenham, 5th Earl of Longford, son of General William Lygon Pakenham, 4th Earl of Longford and Hon. Selina Rice-Trevor, on 8 November 1899.1 She died on 21 November 1933 at age 56.1
     After her marriage, Lady Mary Julia Child-Villiers was styled as Countess of Longford on 8 November 1899. From 8 November 1899, her married name became Pakenham.

     From 2 September 1821, her married name became Manners-Sutton. From 24 August 1837, her married name became Ellerton.
