     Sir James Calder, 3rd Bt. was born on 10 October 1712 at Muirton, Kinloss, Morayshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Calder, 2nd Bt. and Christian Scott.1 He married, firstly, Alice Hughes, daughter of Admiral Robert Hughes, in February 1735.1 He married, secondly, Catharine Camen on 6 October 1768 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1 He died on 19 September 1774 at age 61 at Bayswater House, London, England.1 His will (dated 9 May 1771) was probated on 6 October 1774.2
     Sir James Calder, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Calder, of Muirton [in the parish of Kinloss, co. Moray] [N.S., 1686] in January 1760.1 He lived at Park House, Maidstone, Kent, England.1

     Alice Hughes was the daughter of Admiral Robert Hughes.1 She married Sir James Calder, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Calder, 2nd Bt. and Christian Scott, in February 1735.1 She died on 18 April 1768.1 She was buried at Deptford, Kent, England.1
     From February 1735, her married name became Calder.1

     Catharine Camen was born circa 1700.2 She married, firstly, Wentworth Odiarne before 1768.2 She married, secondly, Sir James Calder, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Calder, 2nd Bt. and Christian Scott, on 6 October 1768 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1 She died on 26 October 1776.1 She was buried on 6 November 1776 at Deptford, Kent, England.2 Her will (dated 25 March 1776) was probated on 13 November 1776.2
     From before 1768, her married name became Odiarne.2 From 6 October 1768, her married name became Calder.1
