     Edmund Charles Joseph Stonor was born on 14 September 1866.1 He was the son of Charles Joseph Stonor and Maude Mary Welman.2 He married Mary Louisa Catherine Riddell, daughter of Thomas William Charles Riddell, on 30 June 1896.1 He died on 18 October 1929 at age 63.1
     Edmund Charles Joseph Stonor gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 3rd Battalion, East Lancashire Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 1st Garrison Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment.1
