     Lieutenant George Byron was born on 12 August 1805.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Byron and Margaret Powditch.2 He married Georgiana Caroline Meiselback, daughter of Colonel unknown Meiselback, on 16 November 1831.1 He died on 23 May 1834 at age 28.1
     Lieutenant George Byron gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 48th Native Infantry.1

     Georgiana Caroline Meiselback is the daughter of Colonel unknown Meiselback.2 She married, secondly, General Edward Philipson Mainwaring.1 She married, firstly, Lieutenant George Byron, son of Reverend Henry Byron and Margaret Powditch, on 16 November 1831.1
     Her married name became Mainwaring. From 16 November 1831, her married name became Byron.

     George Rochfort Byron was born on 9 November 1832.1 He was the son of Lieutenant George Byron and Georgiana Caroline Meiselback.2 He married Rose Templeton, daughter of Frederick Templeton, on 8 September 1866.1 He died on 19 November 1911 at age 79.1
     George Rochfort Byron gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 63rd Regiment.1

     Frederick Rochfort Byron was born on 23 December 1867.1 He was the son of George Rochfort Byron and Rose Templeton.2 He married Maude Rose McBarnet, daughter of Lt.-Col. A. Cockburn McBarnet, on 30 August 1910.1 He died on 1 March 1939 at age 71, without issue.1
     Frederick Rochfort Byron fought in the Matabele Campaign between 1896 and 1897.1
