     Mary Charlotte Julia Gordon was the daughter of Sir Henry Percy Gordon, 2nd Bt. and Lady Mary Agnes Blanche Ashburnham.1 She married General Robert William Disney Leith of Glenkindie and Westhall, son of General Sir Alexander Leith of Freefield and Glenkindie and Maria Thorp, on 14 June 1865.1 She died on 21 February 1926.1
     From 14 June 1865, her married name became Leith.1

Alexander Henry Leith, 5th Baron Burgh was born on 27 July 1866.1 He was the son of General Robert William Disney Leith of Glenkindie and Westhall and Mary Charlotte Julia Gordon.1 He married, firstly, Mildred Katherine Nicholson, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Stuart James Nicholson, in 1893.1 He married, secondly, Phyllis Goldie, daughter of Colonel Mark Henry George Goldie, on 15 October 1902.1 He died on 19 August 1926 at age 60.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Welch Regiment.1 He fought in the Sudan Campaign between 1888 and 1889.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1910.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for the Isle of Wight.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for Aberdeenshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Aberdeenshire.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 3rd Battalion, Gordon Highlanders.1 He was Garrison Commander of the Aberdeen.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Burgh [E., 1529] on 5 May 1916, after the abeyance was terminated in his favour.1

     Colonel Sir Thomas Algernon Earle, 4th Bt. was born on 16 July 1860.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Earle, 2nd Bt. and Emily Fletcher.2 He married Edith Leith, daughter of General Robert William Disney Leith of Glenkindie and Westhall and Mary Charlotte Julia Gordon, on 20 April 1901.1 He died on 5 September 1945 at age 85.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Lancashire Hussars.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Earle, of Allerton Tower, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1869] on 16 July 1939.1
