     Mary Constance Victoria Buchanan was born on 22 January 1901.1 She was the daughter of Sir Eric Alexander Buchanan, 3rd Bt. and Constance Augusta Tennant.1 She married Major Thomas Garrett Mayhew, son of Thomas Mayhew, on 27 April 1921.1 She died on 26 October 1982 at age 81.1
     From 27 April 1921, her married name became Mayhew.

     Major Thomas Garrett Mayhew was the son of Thomas Mayhew.1 He married Mary Constance Victoria Buchanan, daughter of Sir Eric Alexander Buchanan, 3rd Bt. and Constance Augusta Tennant, on 27 April 1921.1 He died on 12 December 1965.1
     Major Thomas Garrett Mayhew held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the East Yorkshire Regiment.1
