     Gwladis Kathleen Erskine was born in 1878.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. David Erskine and Emma Florence Mary Harford.1 She married, firstly, Fleet Paymaster Percy John Ling on 15 April 1903.1 She married, secondly, Aubrey George Erskine Shaw in 1924.1 She died on 22 December 1960.1
     From 15 April 1903, her married name became Ling.1 From 1924, her married name became Shaw.1

Fleet Paymaster Percy John Ling1

     Fleet Paymaster Percy John Ling married Gwladis Kathleen Erskine, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. David Erskine and Emma Florence Mary Harford, on 15 April 1903.1 He died in January 1915, killed in action at sea, on board H.M.S. Formidable .1
     He gained the rank of Fleet Paymaster in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Hon. Edward Morris Erskine was born on 28 March 1817.1 He was the son of David Montagu Erskine, 2nd Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Frances Cadwallader.1 He married Caroline Hamilton, daughter of Robert Hamilton, on 24 July 1847.1 He died on 19 April 1883 at age 66.1
     He was Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Greece between 1864 and 1872.1 He was Minister to Stockholm between 1872 and 1881.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1

     Caroline Hamilton was baptised on 8 May 1816 at St. Alphage, Greenwich, Kent, England.2 She was the daughter of Robert Hamilton.1 She married, firstly, Andrew Loughnan before 1847.1 She married, secondly, Hon. Edward Morris Erskine, son of David Montagu Erskine, 2nd Baron Erskine of Restormel Castle and Frances Cadwallader, on 24 July 1847.1 She died on 23 October 1877 at age 61.1
     From before 1847, her married name became Loughnan.1 From 24 July 1847, her married name became Erskine.

     From 16 April 1872, her married name became Lawton. From 8 September 1885, her married name became Skene.
