     Elizabeth Barnard was born on 5 February 1642/43.² She was the daughter of Sir Henry Barnard and Emma Charlton.¹ She married James Brydges, 8th Baron Chandos of Sudeley, son of Sir John Brydges, 2nd Bt. and Mary Pearle, on 4 May 1665.^1,2 She died on 26 May 1719 at age 76.³ She was buried on 5 June 1719 at Aconbury, Herefordshire, England.³ Her will (dated 8 December 1717/8 [sic]) was probated on 9 July 1719.³
     From 4 May 1665, her married name became Brydges.¹ As a result of her marriage, Elizabeth Barnard was styled as Baroness Chandos of Sudeley on 22 August 1676.
     She had 22 children in total, only 8 of whom survived infancy.³

     Sir Dermot Humphrey de Trafford, 6th Bt. was born on 19 January 1925.¹ He is the son of Sir Rudolph Edgar Francis de Trafford, 5th Bt. and June Isabel Chaplin.¹ He married, firstly, Patricia Mary Beeley, daughter of Francis Mycroft Beeley, on 26 June 1948.¹ He and Patricia Mary Beeley were divorced in 1973.² He married, secondly, Xandra Carandini Lee, daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Trollope Lee, on 22 December 1973.²
     Sir Dermot Humphrey de Trafford, 6th Bt. was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.² He graduated from Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy Reserve.² He was decorated with the award of Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.R.D.) in 1961.² He was chairman of GHP Group between 1965 and 1977.² He was director of Low & Bonar plc in 1977.² He succeeded to the title of 6th Baronet de Trafford, of Trafford Park, Lancashire [U.K., 1841] in 1983.² He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.).² He lived in 2003 at 1 Roper's Orchard, Danvers Street, London, England.²

     Patricia Mary Beeley is the daughter of Francis Mycroft Beeley.² She married Sir Dermot Humphrey de Trafford, 6th Bt., son of Sir Rudolph Edgar Francis de Trafford, 5th Bt. and June Isabel Chaplin, on 26 June 1948.¹ She and Sir Dermot Humphrey de Trafford, 6th Bt. were divorced in 1973.³
     Patricia Mary Beeley graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).³ From 26 June 1948, her married name became de Trafford.¹

     John Humphrey de Trafford was born on 12 September 1950.¹ He is the son of Sir Dermot Humphrey de Trafford, 6th Bt. and Patricia Mary Beeley.¹ He married Anne M. M. de Pebeyre, daughter of Jacques Faure de Pebeyre, in 1975.¹

     Sir Giles Brydges, 1st Bt. was born circa 1573.¹ He was the son of Hon. Charles Brydges and Jane Carne.¹ He married Mary Scudamore, daughter of Sir James Scudamore and Anne Throckmorton. He died on 12 September 1637.¹ He was buried at Peterstowe, Herefordshire, England.¹ An inquest post mortem was held for his on 31 October 1637.¹ His will (dated 4 September 1634) was probated on 22 November 1637.¹
     Sir Giles Brydges, 1st Bt. matriculated at St. Alban's Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 27 November 1590.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tewkesbury from 1621 to 1622.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Herefordshire between 1625 and 1629.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Herefordshire from 1625 to 1626.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Brydges, of Wilton, co. Hereford [England] on 17 May 1627.¹

     Hon. Charles Brydges was the son of John Brydges, 1st Baron Chandos of Sudeley and Elizabeth Grey.^1,2 He died on 9 April 1619.¹
