     Major Nigel Macaulay Bruce was born on 6 February 1906.1 He was the son of Robert Perry Bruce and Olive Maud Macaulay.1 He married Helen Kayler, daughter of Charles Edward Kayler and Hilda Sydney Ringer, on 7 December 1940.1 He died in February 1998 at Deben, Suffolk, England.2
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to GOC-in-C 14th Army, Burma.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1

     Charles Edward Kayler was born in 1863 at Islington, London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Arabella Pugh.2 He married, firstly, Hilda Sydney Ringer, daughter of Dr. Sydney Ringer, in 1902. He married, secondly, Lucy Mary Barbara Lancaster in 1930 at Torquay, Devon, EnglandG.2 He died in 1934.2
     He was given the name of Charles Edward Pugh at birth.2 In 1900 his name was legally changed to Charles Edward Kayler.2 He lived at Mixbury Manor, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1

     Helen Kayler is the daughter of Charles Edward Kayler and Hilda Sydney Ringer.1,2 She married Alfred B. Woodhall.2 She married Harold E. B. Holden.2 She married, thirdly, Major Nigel Macaulay Bruce, son of Robert Perry Bruce and Olive Maud Macaulay, on 7 December 1940.1
     Her married name became Holden.2 Her married name became Woodhall.2 From 7 December 1940, her married name became Bruce.1

     Major Edward Macaulay Bruce was born on 9 February 1908.1 He was the son of Robert Perry Bruce and Olive Maud Macaulay.1 He married Nancy Elinor Humfrey, daughter of Lt.-Col. F. G. C. Humfrey, in 1939.1 He died on 25 August 1986 at age 78 at Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England.1,2
     He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Middlesex Regiment.1 He was a general manager for Unilever.1
