     Francis Fetherstonhaugh was born on 27 April 1821.2 He was the son of William Fetherstonhaugh and Elizabeth Orme.2 He married, secondly, Frances Swift, daughter of Richard Swift.2 He married, firstly, Jane Swift, daughter of Richard Swift, on 1 November 1845.2 He died on 18 March 1892 at age 70.2
     Francis Fetherstonhaugh graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1843 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).2 He lived at Carrick, Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland.1
