     Sir Richard Browne, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1656.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Browne, 2nd Bt. and Frances Atkins.1 He married Dorothy Barnes, daughter of William Barnes, on 13 September 1688 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He died in 1689 at Flanders, BelgiumG, slain by a Colonel Billingsley, without issue.1 His will (dated 13 October 1688) was proven (by probate) on 9 January 1689/90.1
     He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 12 May 1670.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Guards.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Browne, of London [E., 1660] circa September 1684.1

     Dorothy Barnes was born circa 1661.1 She was the daughter of William Barnes.1 She married, firstly, Michael Blackett before 1688.1 She married, secondly, Sir Richard Browne, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Richard Browne, 2nd Bt. and Frances Atkins, on 13 September 1688 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 She married, thirdly, Rt. Rev. John Moore after 1689.1
     From before 1688, her married name became Blackett.1 From 13 September 1688, her married name became Browne.1 From after 1689, her married name became Moore.1

     Sir John Browne, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Richard Browne, 1st Bt. and Bridget Bryan.1 He married unknown Hussey.1 He died in 1701.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Browne, of London [E., 1660] in 1689.1 On 24 February 1695/96 he was nominated one of the Poor Brothers of the Charter House, London.1
