     Samuel Louis Grubb was born on 27 June 1905.² He is the son of Louis Henry Grubb and Sara Mary Watkins Grubb.³ He married Phyllis Amory Hutton, daughter of Walter Charles Stritch Hutton, on 6 March 1937.² He died on 13 February 1972 at age 66.²
     He was educated at Rugby, Warwickshire, England.² He graduated from Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1926 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).² He was registered as a member of the Synod of the Church of Ireland.² He lived at Beechmount, Fethard, County Tipperary, Ireland.²

     Anthony John Clifton Brown was born on 11 September 1942.¹ He is the son of Cedric Clifton Brown and Mary Aymée Lilian Labouchere.¹ He married, firstly, Françoise Mooser, daughter of Meinrad Mooser, on 2 October 1967.¹ He and Françoise Mooser were divorced in 1988.¹ He married, secondly, Veronica Jane Stevens, daughter of Reginald Eric Stevens, in 1989.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).¹ He lived in 2003 at Perces, Greenstead Green, Halstead, Essex, England.¹

     Françoise Mooser is the daughter of Meinrad Mooser.¹ She married Anthony John Clifton Brown, son of Cedric Clifton Brown and Mary Aymée Lilian Labouchere, on 2 October 1967.¹ She and Anthony John Clifton Brown were divorced in 1988.¹
      From 2 October 1967, her married name became Brown.¹
