     Anthony George Clifton-Brown was born on 11 February 1903.¹ He was the son of Edward Clifton-Brown and Dora Winifred Hanbury.¹ He married, firstly, Delia Charlotte Gordon Wade, daughter of George Edward Wade, on 20 February 1930.¹ He married, secondly, Phyllis Adrienne Bridget Harvey, daughter of Francis Harvey, on 16 February 1949.¹ He died in 1984.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).¹ He became a Master between 1945 and 1946, Court Assistants Merchant Taylors' Company.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant of the City of London.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of the City of London between 1957 and 1958.¹

     Delia Charlotte Gordon Wade was the daughter of George Edward Wade.¹ She married Anthony George Clifton-Brown, son of Edward Clifton-Brown and Dora Winifred Hanbury, on 20 February 1930.¹ She died on 16 May 1947.¹
      From 20 February 1930, her married name became Clifton-Brown.¹

     George Edward Wade lived at 30 Hyde Park Street, London, England.¹ He was a sculptor.¹

     Georgiana Elmira Clifton-Brown was born on 27 December 1934.¹ She is the daughter of Anthony George Clifton-Brown and Delia Charlotte Gordon Wade.¹ She married Professor Anthony Charles Bailey, son of Hugh Somerville Bailey, on 7 September 1962.¹
