     Sir William Windsor Broun of Colstoun, 13th Bt. was born on 11 July 1917.¹ He was the son of William Arthur Broun and Marie Victoria McIntyre.² He married D'Hrie King, daughter of Frank R. King, on 4 March 1952.¹ He died on 17 March 2007 at age 89.³
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Australian Imperial Forces.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (F.C.A.)¹ He held the position of Chief of the Name and Arms of Broun from on 10 August 1995.¹ He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Broun, of Coulston, co.
