     Eva Joanna Sill was born in 1883 at Chatham, Kent, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Colonel John Warre Sill and Eva Pulteney Marguerite Sutton.1,2 She married Colonel Theodore Delves Broughton, son of Commander Cecil Delves Broughton and Marion Honora Bouwens, on 28 October 1908.1 She died on 24 February 1959.1
     From 28 October 1908, her married name became Broughton.1

     Colonel John Warre Sill was the son of Reverend John Parkinson Sill.2 He married Eva Pulteney Marguerite Sutton, daughter of Frederick Sutton and Georgina Croft, on 2 June 1881 at Portsea, Hampshire, EnglandG.3 He died on 3 November 1921.
     He lived Wetheringsett Rectory.2 Suffolk.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1

     Captain Hugo Delves Broughton was born on 25 August 1878.1 He was the son of Commander Cecil Delves Broughton and Marion Honora Bouwens.1 He married Jessie Wingate Matthews, daughter of John Matthews, on 8 July 1914.1 He died from 4 April 1916 to 5 April 1916, killed while on active service.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, Cheshire Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 8th Battalion, Cheshire Regiment.1
