     Brig.-Gen. Cyril Randell Crofton was born on 27 March 1867.2 He was the son of Reverend William Arthur Crofton-Atkins and Charlotte Anne Rosalie Coles.2 He married Ruth Josephine Emily Evans, daughter of Arthur Henry Lyne Evans, on 11 July 1905.2 He died on 30 November 1941 at age 74.2
     He was given the name of Cyril Randell Crofton-Atkins at birth.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.2 He gained the rank of Brevet Major.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was wounded in 1915.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant_Colonel in 1915 in the 2nd Battalion, Sherwood Foresters.2 He was Brigadier-General of the 9th (Scottish) Yeomanry Cavalry Brigade in 1916.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)3 On 27 October 1936 his name was legally changed to Cyril Randell Crofton by Deed Poll.2 He lived at Trobridge, Crediton, Devon, EnglandG.2

     Her married name became Heber-Percy.

     G/Capt. John Heber-Percy was born on 18 March 1910.1 He was the son of Alan William Heber-Percy and Hon. Susan Alice Portman.1 He married, firstly, Eve Robertson, daughter of E. R. Robertson, on 1 October 1940.1 He and Eve Robertson were divorced in 1949.1 He married, secondly, Marie Elsie de Mattos, daughter of Jonkheer François Edouard Teixeira de Mattos, on 6 April 1950.1 He died on 20 August 1975 at age 65 at Dalkey, County Dublin, Ireland.2,3
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the High Commissioner, Egypt.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Group Captain between 1939 and 1941 in the Royal Air Force.1 He was Air Attache between 1947 and 1948 at The Hague, The Netherlands.1

     From 14 January 1920, her married name became Scholfield.3 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 She was awarded the British Empire Medal (B.E.M.) in 1957.1
