     Caroline Cornewall was the daughter of Sir George Cornewall, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Cornewall.2 She married Sir William Duff Gordon, 2nd Bt., son of Hon. Alexander Gordon, Lord Rockville and Anne Duff, on 10 February 1810.1 She died on 23 April 1875.1
     From 10 February 1810, her married name became Duff Gordon.

     Sir Alexander Cornewall Duff Gordon, 3rd Bt. was born on 3 February 1811.1 He was the son of Sir William Duff Gordon, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Cornewall.2 He married Lucy Austin, daughter of John Austin, on 16 May 1840.1 He died on 27 October 1872 at age 61.1
     Sir Alexander Cornewall Duff Gordon, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Duff, of Halkin, co. Ayr [U.K., 1813] on 8 March 1823.1 He was Assistant Gentleman Usher to HM Queen Victoria.1

     Lucy Austin was the daughter of John Austin.2 She married Sir Alexander Cornewall Duff Gordon, 3rd Bt., son of Sir William Duff Gordon, 2nd Bt. and Caroline Cornewall, on 16 May 1840.2 She died on 13 July 1869 at Egypt.1
     Lucy Austin was also known as Lucie Austin.2 From 16 May 1840, her married name became (?) Duff Gordon.

     Sir Maurice Duff Gordon of Fyvie, 4th Bt. was born on 15 March 1849.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Cornewall Duff Gordon, 3rd Bt. and Lucy Austin.2 He married Frances Waterton, daughter of Henry Waterton and Isabella Ogle, on 24 June 1872.1 He married, secondly, Sophie Mary Steer, daughter of Charles Steer, on 12 September 1894.1 He died on 5 May 1896 at age 47 at Virginia Water.3
     Sir Maurice Duff Gordon of Fyvie, 4th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Duff [U.K., 1813] on 27 October 1872.1
