     Rosemary Olive Coke was born on 18 November 1910.¹ She was the daughter of Major Hon. Sir John Spencer Coke and Hon. Dorothy Olive Lawson.¹ She married John d'Henin Hamilton, 3rd Baron Hamilton of Dalzell, son of Major Hon. Leslie d'Henin Hamilton and Amy Cecile Ricardo, on 4 March 1935.¹ She died in 1993.¹
      Her married name became Hamilton. As a result of her marriage, Rosemary Olive Coke was styled as Baroness Hamilton of Dalzell on 23 June 1952.
