     Stamp Brooksbank was born on 31 March 1784.1 He was the son of Benjamin Brooksbank and Philippa Clitherow.1 He married Anne Hunter, daughter of John Hunter.1 He died on 28 October 1856 at age 72, without issue.1
     Stamp Brooksbank graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He lived at Healaugh Manor, Yorkshire, England.1
