Maye Amélie Lucile Brooke was the daughter of Colonel Alured de Vere Brooke and Mary Augustus Dobrée.1 She married Rear-Admiral Archibald Cochrane, son of Vice-Admiral Basil Edward Cochrane and Cornelia Ramsay Owen, on 20 April 1904.1 She died on 10 August 1954.1

Rear-Admiral Archibald Cochrane was born on 20 June 1874.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Basil Edward Cochrane and Cornelia Ramsay Owen.2,3 He married Maye Amélie Lucile Brooke, daughter of Colonel Alured de Vere Brooke and Mary Augustus Dobrée, on 20 April 1904.2 He died on 15 July 1952 at age 78.2
Rear-Admiral Archibald Cochrane fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the award of Legion of Honour.1 He was decorated with the award of Order of the Redeemer of Greece.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V in 1929.1
