     Teresa Mary Violet Home was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Archibald Fraser Home and Violet Mary Bertha D'Arcy.^1,2 She married Sir John Leigh Charlton Briscoe, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Charlton Briscoe, 3rd Bt. and Grace Maud Stagg, on 8 April 1948.¹ She died on 23 November 1995.¹
     She was an archaeologist.¹ From 8 April 1948, her married name became Briscoe.¹ She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1972.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Sir Archibald Fraser Home is the son of Colonel Frederick Jervis Home and Constance Stanley MacGowan.² He married Violet Mary Bertha D'Arcy, daughter of William Knox D'Arcy and Maria Colletta Elena Birkbeck, on 17 October 1900 at Westminster, London, England^G.²
