     Sir Matthew Wentworth, 2nd Bt. was born after 1615.2 He was the son of George Wentworth and Mary Ashburnham.2 He married, secondly, Judith Rhodes, daughter of Thomas Rhodes, before 1663. He married, thirdly, Anne Osbaldeston, daughter of William Osbaldeston and Anne Wentworth, on 18 September 1676 at Hunmanby, Yorkshire, England.1 He died on 1 August 1678.1
     Sir Matthew Wentworth, 2nd Bt. gained the title of 2nd Baronet Wentworth.

     Judith Rhodes was the daughter of Thomas Rhodes.1 She married, firstly, Samuel Thorpe before 1662.1 She married, secondly, Sir Matthew Wentworth, 2nd Bt., son of George Wentworth and Mary Ashburnham, before 1663. She died after 1663.1
     From before 1662, her married name became Thorpe.1 From before 1663, her married name became Wentworth.1
