     Major Derek Richard Roderick Greer was born on 7 December 1922.¹ He was the son of Roderick Denis Greer and Eileen Mary Hopking.² He married, firstly, Patricia Marjorie Hare, daughter of Horatio John Hare and Marjorie Primrose Boyd, on 12 July 1957.³ He and Patricia Marjorie Hare were divorced in 1965.⁴ He married, secondly, Linden Platts, daughter of Captain Cyril Stanley Platts, on 2 January 1973.¹ He was also reported to have been married on 12 July 1958.¹ He died on 6 January 1976 at age 53 at Royal Herbert Hospital, Woolwich, Kent, England.⁵
     He was educated at Cranleigh School, Cranleigh, Surrey, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Irish Rangers.¹ He fought in the Second World War, with Royal Ulster Rifles.¹

     Phyllis Daisy Boyd was born on 12 December 1904.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Herbert Boyd and Daisy Emmie Figgis.¹ She married Edward Clibborn Bewley, son of Thomas Watson Bewley and Elizabeth Bevington Clibborn, in 1928.¹ She died on 28 January 1990 at age 85.^1,2
     From 1928, her married name became Bewley.¹

     Edward Clibborn Bewley was born on 2 December 1902.² He was the son of Thomas Watson Bewley and Elizabeth Bevington Clibborn.² He married Phyllis Daisy Boyd, daughter of William Herbert Boyd and Daisy Emmie Figgis, in 1928.¹ He died on 29 November 1979 at age 76.²

     Jonathan Bewley was born on 24 October 1939.¹ He is the son of Edward Clibborn Bewley and Phyllis Daisy Boyd.¹ He married Joan Shaw on 17 July 1965.¹
