     Sir Harold Leslie Boyce, 1st Bt. was born on 9 July 1895.1 He was the son of Charles MacLeay Boyce and Ethel May Thorne.1 He married Maybery Browse Bevan, daughter of Edward Philip Bevan, on 16 July 1926.1 He died on 30 May 1955 at age 59.1

     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Gloucestershire Regiment (Territorial Army Reserve of Officers).1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Boyce, of Badgeworth, co.
