     Sir Harry Goring, 4th Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Horsham between April 1707 and 1708.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Steyning between February 1709 and 1715.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 31st Foot.¹ He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Bowyer, of Leighthorne, co.      Elizabeth Mathew was born circa 1668.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Sir George Mathew.¹ She married Sir Harry Goring, 4th Bt., son of Henry Goring and Mary Covert, before 25 February 1714.¹ She died on 28 July 1768.¹ Her will (dated 17 October 1767) was probated on 10 August 1768.¹
     From before 25 February 1714, her married name became Goring.¹

     John Anna Forster was born on 27 April 1748.¹ She was the daughter of John Forster.¹ She was baptised on 27 May 1748 at Fort William, Bengal, India.¹ She married Sir Harry Goring, 6th Bt., son of Sir Charles Mathew Goring, 5th Bt. and Mary Blackburn, on 8 September 1767 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.¹ She died on 4 June 1774 at age 26.¹ She was buried at Wanstead, Essex, England.¹
     From 8 September 1767, her married name became Goring.¹
