     Williamina Martha Arnold Balfour was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Balfour.¹ She married Captain Thomas Bowlby, son of Reverend Thomas Bowlby and Eleanora Elizabeth Salvin, on 1 February 1817.¹ She died on 3 February 1834.¹
     From 1 February 1817, her married name became Bowlby.¹

     Maj.-Gen. William Balfour gained the rank of Major-General in the 57th Regiment.² He lived at Pilrig, Scotland^G.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick between 1811 and 1817.^1,2

     Margaret Matilda Mein was the daughter of Pulteney Mein.¹ She married Captain Thomas Bowlby, son of Reverend Thomas Bowlby and Eleanora Elizabeth Salvin, on 24 August 1835.¹ She died on 23 April 1862.¹
     From 24 August 1835, her married name became Bowlby.¹

     Pulteney Mein gained the rank of Surgeon in the 73rd Regiment.¹ He lived at Forge Lodge, Canonbie, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Frances Marion Mein was the daughter of Pulteney Mein.¹ She married Thomas William Bowlby, son of Captain Thomas Bowlby and Williamina Martha Arnold Balfour, on 23 September 1848. She died on 11 May 1891.¹
     From 23 September 1848, her married name became Bowlby.¹

     Maria Bridget Lloyd-Mostyn was the daughter of Rev. Hon. Hugh Wynne Lloyd-Mostyn and Ellen Grey Duberly.^1,2 She married Sir Anthony Alfred Bowlby, 1st Bt., son of Thomas William Bowlby and Frances Marion Mein, on 12 April 1898.³ She died on 12 September 1957.¹
     From 12 April 1898, her married name became Bowlby.¹

     Rev. Hon. Hugh Wynne Lloyd-Mostyn was born on 25 January 1838.² He was the son of Edward Lloyd-Mostyn, 2nd Baron Mostyn of Mostyn and Lady Harriet Margaret Scott.² He married Ellen Grey Duberly, daughter of James Duberly and Emily Hannah Grey, on 19 June 1866.² He died on 8 December 1930 at age 92.²
     He was Rector between 1863 and 1908 at Buckworth, Huntingdonshire, England.² He held the office of Canon of Ely Cathedral.³

     Dora Evelyn Allen was born circa 1927.² She was the daughter of John Charles Allen.¹ She married Sir Anthony Hugh Mostyn Bowlby, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Anthony Alfred Bowlby, 1st Bt. and Maria Bridget Lloyd-Mostyn, on 27 January 1930.¹ She died on 13 January 1999.²
     From 27 January 1930, her married name became Bowlby.¹

     John Charles Allen lived at York, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Anthea Bowlby was born on 21 August 1930.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Anthony Hugh Mostyn Bowlby, 2nd Bt. and Dora Evelyn Allen.¹ She married Jolyon Dromgoole, son of Nicholas Arthur Dromgoole, on 10 March 1956.¹
     From 10 March 1956, her married name became Dromgoole.¹ She lived in 2003 at 13 Gladstone Road, London, England^G.¹
