     Stanley Forsyth Borrie was born on 20 February 1927.1 He is the son of Stanley Borrie and Alice Forsyth.1 He married Maureen Barbara Elliott, daughter of Ernest Elliott and Edith Dix.1
     Stanley Forsyth Borrie was educated at John Bright Grammar School, Llandudno, Caernarvonshire, Wales.1 He was educated at de Havilland Aeronautical Technical School, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England.1 He was deputy flight test manager for British Aerospace.1
