     Jonkheer Cornelis Jan Boreel was born on 1 December 1932.1 He is the son of Hugo Boreel and Baroness Emilie Henriette Adele van Tuyll van Serooskerken.1 He married Claudine Wilhelmina Woltera Royaards, daughter of Willem Jan Royaards and Baroness Claudina Maria Carolina Bentinck van Schoonheten, on 5 September 1959.1
     Jonkheer Cornelis Jan Boreel gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Hussars of Boreel.1 He lived in 2003 at Pieter de Hooghlaan 23, Bilthoven, The Netherlands.1
