     Lucy Margaret Amy Gregory was born on 17 June 1891.2 She was the daughter of Alfred Edward Gregory.1 She married, firstly, Captain Frederick Thomas Gardiner on 16 March 1916.1,2 She married, secondly, Captain Evelyn Leonard Beridge Boothby, son of Captain Basil Charles Boothby and Emily Sarah Jebb, in 1924.1 She died on 10 January 1948 at age 56.1
     From 16 March 1916, her married name became Gardiner.2 From 1924, her married name became Boothby.1

     Captain Frederick Thomas Gardiner was born circa 1892.2 He married Lucy Margaret Amy Gregory, daughter of Alfred Edward Gregory, on 16 March 1916.1,2 He died on 31 July 1917, killed in action.3
     He fought in the First World War.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the Highland Light Infantry.1
