     Oscar Philip Boord was born on 22 February 1866.1 He was the son of Joseph Boord and Frances Hester Cocke.1 He married Amy Louisa Harris, daughter of Albert Harris, on 5 January 1898.1 He died on 9 October 1948 at age 82.1
     Oscar Philip Boord gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 6th Battalion, 1st Garrison Battalion, Devonshire Regiment.1 He lived at Northwick Grange, Worcestershire, England.1

     Lt.-Col. Oscar Leslie Boord was born on 18 November 1898.1 He was the son of Oscar Philip Boord and Amy Louisa Harris.1 He married Julia Mary Huth, daughter of Major Geoffrey Edward Huth and Gladys Emily Hargreaves Brown, on 20 September 1939.1 He died on 12 November 1967 at age 68.1
     Lt.-Col. Oscar Leslie Boord usually went by his middle name of Leslie.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1917 in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 10th Royal Hussars.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
