     Roslind Marion Minton Haines was born in 1979.¹ She is the daughter of Michael Geoffrey Minton Haines and Elizabeth Blakiston-Houston.¹

     Patience Victoria Blakiston-Houston was born on 9 August 1944.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Matthew Blakiston-Houston and Lettice Arden Stobart.¹ She married Ron Long in 1979.¹
      From 1979, her married name became Long.¹ She lived in 2003 at Twiglees, Boreland, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.¹

     George Blakiston-Houston was born on 17 May 1900.¹ He was the son of Richard Blakiston-Houston and Lilian Agnes Kidston.¹ He died on 1 August 1925 at age 25, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Irish Guards.¹

     Marian Blakiston-Houston was born on 26 November 1905.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Blakiston-Houston and Lilian Agnes Kidston.¹ She married General Sir Gordon Holmes Alexander MacMillan of MacMillan and Knap, son of Dugald Alexander MacMillan, on 10 August 1929.¹ She died on 29 April 1991 at age 85.¹
      From 10 August 1929, her married name became MacMillan.¹ She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1952.¹ She was invested as a Companion, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.).¹

     General Sir Gordon Holmes Alexander MacMillan of MacMillan and Knap is the son of Dugald Alexander MacMillan.¹ He married Marian Blakiston-Houston, daughter of Richard Blakiston-Houston and Lilian Agnes Kidston, on 10 August 1929.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ He was invested as a Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.).¹ He gained the rank of General in the service of the Argyll and Sutherland Highalnders.¹ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.).¹ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).¹ He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).¹ He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).¹
