     Phillip Howland Christian was born on 11 October 1865 at Pitcairn Island.1 He was the son of Alphonso Driver Christian and Sarah McCoy.1 He married Gertrude Eliza Warren, daughter of Samuel Russell Warren and Agnes Christian, at Pitcairn Island.1 He was buried on 14 January 1889 at Pitcairn Island.1
     He and three of his brothers went out looking for bird's nests. When in a very dangerous part of the cliff, out of sight of the others, he lost his balance and fell to his death 250 feet onto the rocks below.1

     On 31 December 1907 while out goat shooting with his friend, Robert Young, he accidently shot and killed Young.1

     Morris Sterling Warren was born on 3 September 1906 at Pitcairn Island.1 He was the son of Thursday Moses Skelly Warren and Anne Elizabeth Warren.1 He died on 5 August 1984 at age 77 at Pitcairn Island.1
     Morris Sterling Warren also went by the nick-name of Mento. He was a pensioner on Pitcairn, spending his time doing odd jobs around the school. He was also 'notorious' as the island's only smoker, and special dispensations had to be granted to island 'no smoking' laws to permit him to smoke. He was the island flagman, and the bellringer at the church. He was mentally disabled due to genetic problems, the son of a brother and his sister. in 1980.1
