     Sir Philip Overington Blunden, 7th Bt. was born on 27 January 1922.1 He is the son of Sir John Blunden, 5th Bt. and Phyllis Dorothy Creaghe.1 He married Jeanette Francesca Alexandra Macdonald, daughter of Captain D. Macdonald, in 1945.1
     Sir Philip Overington Blunden, 7th Bt. was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1942 and 1945, in the Royal Navy.1 He was an artist and art restorer.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Blunden, of Castle Blunden, co. Kilkenny [I., 1766] in 1985.1
