     John William Clayton was born on 23 February 1833.¹ He was the son of John Lloyd Clayton and Louisa Sophia Littledale.² He married, firstly, Mary Harietta Charlotte Somerset, daughter of Colonel Henry Charles Capel Somerset and Alice Elizabeth O'Connell, on 4 September 1862.¹ He married, secondly, Catherine Mary Gibson, daughter of James Gibson, on 7 April 1892.¹ He died on 18 April 1913 at age 80.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 13th Light Dragoons.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹

     Lisa Tania Borwick was born on 26 July 1973 at Goroka, Papua New Guinea^G.¹ She is the daughter of Bruce Nigel Borwick and Jill de Joncourt Patterson.¹ She married Jim Arnott on 30 September 2000 at Broome, Northern Territory, Australia^G.¹
     From 30 September 2000, her married name became Arnott.¹

     Mabel Blanche Hopkinson was born on 2 October 1868 at England.¹ She was the daughter of George Henry Hopkinson and Blanche Isabella Somerset.¹

     Cecil Arthur Hopkinson was born on 22 June 1870 at England.¹ He was the son of George Henry Hopkinson and Blanche Isabella Somerset.¹ He married Susan Margaret Taylor on 22 December 1910 at England.¹ He died on 23 March 1923 at age 52.¹
