     He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Blois, of Grundisburgh and Cockfield Hall, co. Suffolk [E., 1686] on 9 April 1738.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Edwards-Vaughan lived at Rheola, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wells between 1830 and 1832.²
