     Sir George Warrender of Lochend, 6th Bt. was born on 7 October 1825 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He was the son of Sir John Warrender of Lochend, 5th Bt. and Lady Julian Jane Maitland.1 He married Helen Purves-Hume-Campbell, daughter of Sir Hugh Purves-Hume-Campbell of Marchmont, 7th Bt. and Margaret Penelope Spottiswoode, on 13 July 1854 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 13 June 1901 at age 75 at 87 Eaton Square, London, EnglandG.1 He was buried at Grange Cemetery, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 His will was proven (by probate), at £456,138.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Warrender, of Lochend, co. Haddington [G.B., 1715] on 21 January 1867.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Haddington.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Haddington.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Edinburgh.2

     Helen Purves-Hume-Campbell was born circa 1835.1 She was the daughter of Sir Hugh Purves-Hume-Campbell of Marchmont, 7th Bt. and Margaret Penelope Spottiswoode.1 She married Sir George Warrender of Lochend, 6th Bt., son of Sir John Warrender of Lochend, 5th Bt. and Lady Julian Jane Maitland, on 13 July 1854 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 11 March 1875 at Bruntisfield House, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1
     From 13 July 1854, her married name became Warrender.1

     Sir Hugh Purves-Hume-Campbell of Marchmont, 7th Bt. was born on 15 December 1812.2 He was the son of Sir William Purves-Hume-Campbell, 6th Bt. and Charlotte Rey.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Penelope Spottiswoode, daughter of John Spottiswoode of Spottiswoode and Helen Wauchope, on 30 January 1834 at Spottiswoode, Berwickshire, ScotlandG.2 He married, secondly, Juliana Rebecca Fuller, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Joseph Fuller, on 9 October 1841.3 He died on 30 January 1894 at age 81 at 18 Hill Street, Berkeley Square, London, EnglandG.2
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Purves, of Purves Hall, co. Berwick [N.S., 1665] on 9 April 1833.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berwickshire between 1834 and 1847.4 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Berwickshire between 1834 and 1847.4

     From 30 January 1834, her married name became Purves-Hume-Campbell.2
