     Herbert Atkin Quintal was born on 29 November 1899 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Joseph Atkins Quintal and Amy Arabella Adams.¹ He died on 8 July 1910 at age 10 at Norfolk Island^G.¹

     Edward Allen Quintal was born on 27 June 1901 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Joseph Atkins Quintal and Amy Arabella Adams.¹ He died on 2 February 1945 at age 43 at Sandakan, North Borneo^G, while held as a POW.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Gunner in the 2/15 Field Division Regimental Artillery, Royal Australian Army.²

     Agnes Maria Quintal was born on 5 January 1910 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Atkins Quintal and Amy Arabella Adams.¹ She married Harold May.¹ She died, without issue.² She was buried at Norfolk Island Cemetery, Norfolk Island.³
     Agnes Maria Quintal usually went by her middle name of Pearl.

     John Edward Quintal was born on 4 July 1912 at Norfolk Island^G.² He is the son of Joseph Atkins Quintal and Amy Arabella Adams.¹
     He left Norfolk, and was never heard from again.²

     Kenwick Herbert Kitchiner Quintal was born on 30 November 1914 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ He was the son of Joseph Atkins Quintal and Amy Arabella Adams.¹ He died on 5 September 1940 at age 25, unmarried.¹
     He spent 4 years living on Lord Howe Island, but had to return due to ill health.²

     Annie Elizabeth Adams was born on 1 April 1898 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of George Webb Adams and Martha Coffin Quintal.² She married Stephen Christian Quintal, son of Joseph Atkins Quintal and Amy Arabella Adams.¹ She died in 1985.¹ She was buried at Norfolk Island Cemetery, Norfolk Island.³
     She was adopted by an unknown person. From 23 April 1920, her married name became Quintal.¹

     William FitzMaurice is the son of Captain Thomas FitzMaurice and Eleanor MacCarthy.¹
